The Puma Aquatic Team offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Puma Aquatic Team to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Cubs (Atascadero)
Our youngest group, ages 4-7. Emphasis is on preparing swimmers for team try-outs. Our coach is in the water, working on core strengthening for proper body position with freestyle and backstroke. This is a fun and effective program.
Bronze
Entry-level swimmers that are 10 years or younger. Emphasis is on proper body positioning with the basic strokes of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and the introduction to butterfly.
Bring goggles, suit, swim cap, flippers, and a huge smile!
Silver
Designed for novice swimmers that are 12 years and younger with prior swimming experience. Stroke enhancement and racing strategies are developed.
Bring goggles, suit, swim cap, flippers, and a huge smile!
Gold
For more advanced swimmers that are 9 years and older. Work on stroke mechanics for all strokes, endurance and racing skills.
Flippers, 2 pairs of goggles, swimsuit, towel, and a good attitude required.
Platinum
For swimmers ages 10 and over who are making the transition from Gold to Junior. Advanced stroke mechanics, racing skills, endurance and development of individual goals. Gear required: training journal, swimsuit, a variety of goggles, flippers, swim snorkel, and hand paddles.
Junior
For advanced swimmers 11 years and older. Advanced stroke mechanics along with more challenging training. Development of individual goals and team leadership skills.

Senior
Advanced swimming for ages 13 and up. Concentration on proper swim mechanics during more intense workouts. Development of goals and achieving success both through mind and body. Get ready for an awesome swimming experience!

High School
Basic swim training for high school aged athletes looking to stay in shape durning the school season. Concentration on stroke technique with conditioning and endurance training. Choose any 3-practice times from the Senior Team schedule. Available only during the High School Academic year.
